- Expression of Interest are invited for Scenarios for Brazil Offshore Wind Development The World Bank Group (WBG), under the umbrella of its Offshore Wind Development Program, has been supporting the Brazilian Government on offshore wind since 2019, initially through a study tour to the UK, followed by a two-day virtual event in 2020, and subsequently through a series of in-depth technical workshops to inform policy and regulatory development. The private sector interest in Brazils extensive, energetic offshore wind resource has been growing quickly and, in response to a request by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), WBG is now seeking to provide deeper technical assistance on a broad range of issues.
