Tenders are invited for Sanitation Project in Brazil: Technical-Engineering Consultant The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is being considered by a government-client in Brazil as the lead advisor to structure and promote a Water and Sewage PPP (the Project) in the Northeast Region of Minas Gerais State, through which one or more municipal clusters will be awarded as DBFOM (Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Maintain) concessions to the private sector. IFC is now seeking a Technical-Engineering Consultant. The main objectives of the consultancy are: (i) execution of field surveys; (ii) evaluation of the existing water and sewage infrastructure; (ii) development of demand and revenues forecasts for the whole concession period; (iii) development of a hydrological resources study; (iv) development of the concessions intervention plan and operational model; (v) development of engineering projects (Anteprojeto); (vi) elaboration of CAPEX and OPEX projections; (vi) support the client and local authorities by providing inputs to be included in new municipal water and sanitation plans, in accordance with the new regulatory framework and proposed intervention plans; (vii) elaboration of technical annexes; (viii) assessment and development of a KPIs framework; and (ix) support on the technical aspects at public consultation/hearings, market sounding/promotion and the bidding stages.
