Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Sanitation Project in Brazil: Environmental and Social Consultant IFC is being considered by a government-client in Brazil as the lead advisor to structure and promote a Water and Sewage PPP in the Northeast Region of Minas Gerais State, through which one or more municipal clusters will be awarded as DBFOM concessions. The main objectives of the consultancy are (i) define the area of influence of the Project and develop a broad characterization considering social, economic, demographic and environmental profile; (ii) assess E&S aspects associated with the existing W&S infrastructure; (iii) undertake a gap analysis between local legislation and IFC PSs and recommend necessary provisions to close identified gaps; (iv) identify key risks and impacts and propose mitigation measures; (v) identify key stakeholders, their involvement in the Project and develop a social mobilization strategy; (vi) assess the status of E&S licenses and prepare a Road Map; (vii) develop the E&S CAPEX and OPEX projections; (viii) support on the technical aspects at public consultation, promotion and bidding stage. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
