- REQUEST FOR THE ACQUISITION OF HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES, FOR USE AT THE JOSE ALVES PORTO FILHO HEALTH CENTER, TO MAINTENANCE THE ACTIVITIES OF THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH SECRETARIAT, THE ACQUISITION OF AIR CONDITIONING FOR THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND HEALTH CARE POSTS IS FUNDAMENTAL FOR HEALTH PUBLIC AND THE QUALITY OF WORK ENVIRONMENT, GOING MUCH BEYOND THERMAL COMFORT. ADEQUATE CLIMATE CONDITIONING IS REGULATED BY TECHNICAL STANDARDS, SUCH AS ABNT'S NBR 7256, WHICH ESTABLISHES REQUIREMENTS FOR AIR QUALITY IN CARE CARE ESTABLISHMENTS, IN PLACES SUCH AS HEALTH CARE POSTS, WHERE VIRUSES AND BACTERIA CIRCULATE IS HIGH, AN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH ADEQUATE FILTRATION REDUCES THE AMOUNT OF MICRO-ORGANISMS IN THE AIR. THIS REDUCES THE RISK OF HOSPITAL INFECTIONS AND THE SPREAD OF RESPIRATORY DISEASES, AN ENVIRONMENT WITH CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE WELL-BEING OF PATIENTS, ESPECIALLY THE MOST VULNERABLE, SUCH AS THE ELDERLY, CHILDREN AND PEOPLE WITH RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS.
