Description:
The acquisition of the Automotive Liquid Reducing Agent (ARLA 32) is essential to ensure the environmental and operational compliance of the municipal fleet, consisting of vehicles and machines that use diesel engines equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction Technology (SCR). Since 2012, according to Established by CONAMA Resolution No. 403/2008 and IBAMA Normative Instruction No. 23/2009, the use of ARLA 32 is mandatory for diesel -powered heavy vehicles more than 135 kW (approximately 180 hp) in order to meet nitrogen oxide emission limits (NOX). The arla 32 is an aqueous solution composed of 32.5% high purity urea in demineralized water, which, when injected into the vehicle exhaust system, converts NOX into nitrogen and water vapor, harmless substances to the environment.
